New to BDSM, Leather, or kink? Wondering if everyone else got a handbook you missed? This orientation offers an introduction to BDSM, kink, and Leather from a community-centered perspective. We’ll explore BDSM basics, common terminology and practices, consent and negotiation, power dynamics, community, and finding your place in the Leather and kink world.
We’ll also touch on the etiquette and responsibilities that come with attending a Leather/kink convention, including navigating shared vanilla spaces. Whether you’re completely new or simply looking to better understand the culture and community, this class is a place to start exploring with curiosity, confidence, and respect.
