Electro Play 101

October 31, 2025, 4:00 pm5:15 pm MDT

From soft sensual massage to evil sadistic punishments, with nothing more than the flick of a switch. Electro play can be one of the most versatile forms of edge play. Electricity does not need to be scary or painful (but it absolutely can be)!

The focus of this basic 101 class will primarily be on the safe use of both modern solid state “neon/violet”wands and the more traditional mechanical “Tesla”wands, and the differences between them. We will also be covering different types of accessories and some basic techniques to get you started.

We will start with an introduction of what Electro play is, A brief history, and then most importantly, the different safety and consent requirements needed for electro play. Afterwards we’ll dive into the art, science, and fun of taking something we’ve all been raised to fear, and turning it into our own unique kinky edge play adventure.

We will explore what to look for when buying a wand and all the fun accessories that can go with it. This includes different types of tips, attachments, and cables. Plus we’ll cover the wide world of pervertables. Those simple household items that can help keep your electro kink variations fresh and affordable.

As class wraps up, (time permitting) everyone will have the opportunity to voluntarily experience the sensations for themselves. Under guidance and supervision, there will be several wands and attachments available for attendees to try out on themselves or their partners.  (Consent is mandatory, Please read and adhere to all safety warnings).
